In Devon, England there is a remnant of ancient woodland dating from prehistoric times. It is full of stunted oaks covered in moss that grow amongst boulders. It is indeed an enchanted place. This is a painting of the gate that separates the woods from the rest of the moors. Once you pass through the gate you feel as if you are entering the Otherworld.
